The Fossil Ridge Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Ponder Lions to 41 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Granbury for a 5A Region I District 5 outing on Friday, December 12. Fossil Ridge will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 34-29 non-league loss to Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 7-10.

The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats enter the 3A Region II District 10 outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Pilot Point was nipped by Aubrey (Aubrey, TX), 43-10, in a non-league outing.
