Maine High School Basketball - Medomak Valley can't hold off Yarmouth
December 9, 2025: Yarmouth, ME 04096 Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME), 33-30 in a league match.
With the victory, Yarmouth upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Clippers travel to York (York, ME) to face the Wildcats in a B South contest on Friday, December 12. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 2-1. York lost 49-34 in their recent non-league contest against Edward Little (Auburn, ME)
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) in a B South contest, on Thursday, December 11. Medomak Valley will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Shipbuilders go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 48-35 league loss to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME).
