The Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks were victorious over the host University School of Nashville Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 62-49 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Gordonsville Tigers (Gordonsville, TN) in a 1A District 8 outing, on Thursday, December 11. Merrol Hyde Magnet will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 5-1 record after their 62-37 non-league win over Clay County (Celina, TN).
