South Dakota High School Basketball - Vermillion overwhelms Beresford
February 1, 2022: Vermillion, SD 57069 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) and the visiting Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD), saw Vermillion's basketball squad wallop Beresford by a tally of 67-31.
With the victory, Vermillion improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Tanagers travel to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD) to confront the Panthers in a A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Dakota Valley won 68-54 in their recent league challenge against Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD)
Next up, the Watchdogs confront the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 3. Beresford will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 74-47 non-league win over Redfield (Redfield, SD).
