Colorado High School Basketball - Moffat County holds off Grand Valley
February 1, 2022: Parachute, CO 81635 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Moffat County Bulldogs (Craig, CO) and the host Grand Valley Cardinals (Parachute, CO), saw Moffat County's basketball squad hold off Grand Valley by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Moffat County improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO) to confront the Miners in a 3A Western Slope challenge on Friday, February 4. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. North Fork lost 48-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) in a 3A Western Slope challenge, on Friday, February 4. Grand Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 48-38 league loss to Basalt (Basalt, CO).
