Kentucky High School Basketball - Madison Southern topples Tates Creek
February 1, 2022: Berea, KY 40403 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Madison Southern Eagles (Berea, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), by a count of 66-50.
The Eagles (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Model (Richmond, KY). The Patriots go into the District 44 outing with a 3-18 record. In their last outing, Model was topped by Powell County (Stanton, KY), 63-44, in a non-league outing.
The Commodores now hold a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar for a District 43 outing on Thursday, February 3. Tates Creek will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-40 league loss to Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-11.
