Michigan High School Basketball - Niles tipped by St. Joseph
February 1, 2022: Niles, MI 49120 The St. Joseph Bears basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Niles Vikings to 42 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeshore for a Southwestern Michigan - West contest on Friday, February 4. St. Joseph will meet a Lancers team coming off a 43-21 league win over Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 6-5.
The Vikings (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sturgis (Sturgis, MI). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Sturgis nudged Marshall Academy (Marshall, MI), 81-33, in a non-league contest.
