Minnesota High School Basketball - Southwest Christian knocked off by Providence Academy
February 1, 2022: Chaska, MN 55318 The Providence Academy Lions basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Southwest Christian Stars to 56 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Croix Lutheran for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 2. Providence Academy will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 57-40 league loss to St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-12.
The Stars (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jordan (Jordan, MN). The Hubmen / Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Jordan was outscored by New Ulm (New Ulm, MN), 82-78, in a league contest.
