February 1, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM) and the host Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM), saw Gateway Christian's basketball squad overcome Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy by a tally of 44-34.
With the victory, Gateway Christian improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to To'hajiilee (To'hajiilee, NM) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 10-3.
Next up, the Eagle play the Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM) in a A District 7 challenge, on Friday, February 4. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Silverbacks come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 66-11 league loss to Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM).
