February 1, 2022: Whitehall, MI 49461 The Whitehall Vikings (Whitehall, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Fremont Packers (Fremont, MI), 56-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Montague (Montague, MI). The Wildcats go into the Western Michigan test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Montague got by Grant (Grant, MI), 54-39, in a non-league test.
The Packers now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Central Montcalm for a Central State test on Friday, February 4. Fremont will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 46-36 non-league loss to Ionia (Ionia, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 2-11.
