February 1, 2023: Chicago, IL 60644 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL), saw Christ the King's basketball squad wallop Walther Christian Academy by a tally of 75-42.
With the victory, Christ the King improves its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-19. Providence-St. Mel lost 58-41 in their recent league challenge against Marmion (Aurora, IL)
Next up, the Broncos confront the Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Walther Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-20 record after their 63-48 league loss to St. Edward (Elgin, IL).
