February 1, 2023: Jasper, AL 35504 The Jasper Vikings basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting Fayette County Tigers to 27 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairview for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Jasper will battle a Aggies team coming off a 66-53 non-league win over Priceville (Priceville, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 12-16.
The Tigers (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Hamilton, AL). The Aggies come into the non-league contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Hamilton triumphed over Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL), 65-41, in a non-league contest.
