February 1, 2023: Ann Arbor, MI 48105 Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish (Ann Arbor, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ypsilanti Grizzlies (Ypsilanti, MI), 64-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gabriel Richard upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Divine Child (Dearborn, MI) to clash with the Falcons in a Catholic AA bout on Friday, February 3. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Divine Child won 74-47 in their recent non-league bout against Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI)
In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI) in a Southeastern - White game, on Friday, February 3. Ypsilanti will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 76-69 league loss to Jackson (Jackson, MI).
