February 1, 2023: Elizabeth, CO 80107 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) and the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Elizabeth's basketball squad hold off Sand Creek by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, Elizabeth improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Titans in a challenge on Friday, February 3. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. The Classical Academy won 54-52 in their recent league challenge against Falcon (Falcon, CO)
Next up, the Scorpions play the Falcon Falcons (Falcon, CO) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Sand Creek will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
