Connecticut High School Basketball - Ridgefield holds off Farmington
February 1, 2023: Farmington, CT 06032 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) and the host Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT), saw Ridgefield's basketball squad hold off Farmington by a tally of 46-43.
With the victory, Ridgefield improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Westhill (Stamford, CT) to battle the Vikings in a Fairfield County battle on Friday, February 3. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 2-13. Westhill lost 60-28 in their recent league battle against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT)
The River Hawks (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Lancers come into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Bristol Eastern was nudged by Conard (West Hartford, CT), 46-28, in a league battle.
