Illinois High School Basketball - Farmington nips Rockridge
February 1, 2023: Taylor Ridge, IL 61284 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) and the host Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL), saw Farmington's basketball squad hold off Rockridge by a tally of 28-21.
With the victory, Farmington improves its record to 7-18 on the campaign. The Farmers travel to Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 21-6. Monmouth-Roseville lost 57-43 in their recent league challenge against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL)
Next up, the Rockets play the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) in a Three Rivers - West challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Rockridge will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-14 record after their 57-41 league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL).
