Kentucky High School Basketball - Spencer County overwhelms Henry County
February 1, 2023: Taylorsville, KY 40071 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) and the visiting Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY), saw Spencer County's basketball squad wallop Henry County by a count of 73-34.
With the victory, Spencer County upgrades its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Simon Kenton (Independence, KY) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Simon Kenton lost 69-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Cooper (Union, KY)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY) in a District 31 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Henry County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record.
