Illinois High School Basketball - Latin tops Lake Forest Academy
February 1, 2023: Chicago, IL 60610 Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 58-40 in a league bout.
With the victory, Latin upgrades its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Romans travel to North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL) to play the Raiders in a Independent School bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 15-7. North Shore Country Day lost 56-36 in their recent non-league bout against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Caxys play the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a Independent School bout, on Monday, February 6. Lake Forest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 47-23 league win over Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL).
