Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Notre Dame fells Bangor
February 1, 2024: East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 Notre Dame Spartans (East Stroudsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA), 65-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Spartans host Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA) to play the Rough Riders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Rough Riders go into the bout with a record of 6-10.
Next up, the Slaters play the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) in a Colonial - East bout, on Saturday, February 3. Bangor will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 13-7 record after their 57-39 league loss to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA).
