Iowa High School Basketball - Don Bosco tops North Tama
February 1, 2024: Traer, IA 50675 Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host North Tama Red Hawks (Traer, IA), 57-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Don Bosco upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Dons host Cascade (Cascade, IA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Cascade won 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA)
Next up, the Red Hawks play the GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA) in a Iowa Star bout, on Saturday, February 3. North Tama will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 61-56 non-league win over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA).
