Louisiana High School Basketball - Varnado ripped by GEO Next Generation

The GEO Next Generation Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Varnado Wildcats to 29 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Slaughter Community Charter for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. GEO Next Generation will battle a Knights team coming off a 69-55 league loss to Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights record now stands at 5-15.

The Wildcats (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA). The Pioneers enter the 1A District 10 contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Crescent City Christian triumphed over East Ascension (Gonzales, LA), 72-56, in a non-league contest.
