Iowa High School Basketball - Grand View Christian crushes West Marshall
February 1, 2024: State Center, IA 50247 Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), 77-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grand View Christian upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Thunder travel to Charles City (Charles City, IA) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Charles City won 73-47 in their recent league challenge against New Hampton (New Hampton, IA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large challenge, on Friday, February 2. West Marshall will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 63-62 non-league win over Atlantic (Atlantic, IA).
