February 1, 2024: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) and the host Holy Spirit Catholic Saints (Tuscaloosa, AL), saw Thorsby's basketball squad knock off Holy Spirit Catholic by a count of 66-46.
With the victory, Thorsby upgrades its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Comer (Sylacauga, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 18-5. Comer won 63-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Talladega County Central (Talladega, AL)
Next up, the Saints play the Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Holy Spirit Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 11-14 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 65-51 non-league loss to West Lowndes (Columbus, MS).
