The Lower Brule Sioux basketball team (Lower Brule, SD), dropped 73-65 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD)

The Spartans now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tripp-Delmont/Armour for a B Region 5 battle on Saturday, February 3. Wessington Springs will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 58-51 league loss to Marty Indian (Marty, SD). The Nighthawks record now stands at 10-3.

The Sioux (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Flyers come into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record.
