Missouri High School Basketball - Montgomery County tops Van-Far
February 1, 2024: Montgomery City, MO 63361 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Montgomery County Wildcats (Montgomery City, MO) and the visiting Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO), saw Montgomery County's basketball squad knock off Van-Far by a count of 63-46.
With the victory, Montgomery County upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO) to play the Jays in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Jays come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Jefferson City lost 47-46 in their recent league challenge against Helias (Jefferson City, MO)
Next up, the Indians play the Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO) in a Eastern Missouri challenge, on Friday, February 2. Van-Far will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 58-46 league loss to Wright City (Wright City, MO).
