Missouri High School Basketball - Niangua overwhelms New Covenant Academy
February 1, 2024: Niangua, MO 65713 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Niangua Cardinals (Niangua, MO) and the visiting New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO), saw Niangua's basketball squad wallop New Covenant Academy by a tally of 72-38.
With the victory, Niangua improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Fair Play (Fair Play, MO) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-14. Fair Play lost 54-38 in their recent league challenge against Hermitage (Hermitage, MO)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Verona Wildcats (Verona, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. New Covenant Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 58-49 non-league win over Hurley (Hurley, MO).
