Illinois High School Basketball - Oak Forest tops Argo
February 1, 2024: Summit, IL 60501 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) and the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), saw Oak Forest's basketball squad knock off Argo by a tally of 41-30.
With the victory, Oak Forest improves its record to 7-21 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Bremen (Midlothian, IL) to play the Braves in a South Suburban - Blue challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Bremen won 42-41 in their recent league challenge against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL)
Next up, the Argonauts play the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a South Suburban - Blue challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Argo will attempt to improve on its 4-20 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 62-26 league loss to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).
