February 1, 2024: Clay Center, KS 67432 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Silver Lake Eagles (Silver Lake, KS) and the host Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS), saw Silver Lake's basketball squad wallop Clay Center by a tally of 70-44.
With the victory, Silver Lake improves its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Manhattan Catholic (Manhattan, KS) to confront the Tigers in a Central Prairie challenge on Friday, February 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Manhattan Catholic won 36-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Wamego (Wamego, KS)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Clay Center will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 64-36 non-league loss to Hanover (Hanover, KS).
