South Dakota High School Basketball - Deuel knocked off by Groton
February 1, 2024: Clear Lake, SD 57226 The Groton Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Deuel Cardinals to 30 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk Point-Jefferson for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Groton will battle a Huskies team coming off a 60-53 league win over Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Huskies record now stands at 13-2.
The Cardinals (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Canton (Canton, SD). The C-Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last bout, Canton topped Canistota (Canistota, SD), 65-40, in a non-league bout.
