February 1, 2024: State Center, IA 50247 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) and the visiting Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA), saw West Marshall's basketball squad hold off Grand View Christian by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, West Marshall improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Perry (Perry, IA) to confront the Bluejays in a Heart of Iowa challenge on Friday, February 2. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 2-13. Perry lost 58-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA)
Next up, the Thunder confront the Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA) in a Bluegrass challenge, on Friday, February 2. Grand View Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 47-24 league win over Seymour (Seymour, IA).
