New York High School Basketball - Highland overwhelms Pine Plains
February 1, 2024: Highland, NY 12528 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Highland Huskies (Highland, NY) and the visiting Pine Plains Bombers (Pine Plains, NY), saw Highland's basketball squad wallop Pine Plains by a count of 67-44.
With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Webutuck (Amenia, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 9 MHAL I challenge on Friday, February 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Bombers play the New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY) in a Section 9 MHAL I challenge, on Monday, February 5. Pine Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Huguenots come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 76-23 league loss to Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY).
