February 1, 2024: West Liberty, OH 43357 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Liberty-Salem Tigers (West Liberty, OH) and the visiting Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH), saw West Liberty-Salem's basketball squad knock off Jonathan Alder by a tally of 53-37.
With the victory, West Liberty-Salem improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Triad (North Lewisburg, OH) to play the Cardinals in a Ohio Heritage challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Triad won 38-36 in their recent league challenge against Greeneview (Jamestown, OH)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Bellefontaine Chieftains (Bellefontaine, OH) in a Central Buckeye Conference - Kenton Trail challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Jonathan Alder will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 52-35 non-league loss to Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, OH).
