February 1, 2024: Uncasville, CT 06382 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) and the host St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT), saw Stonington's basketball squad wallop St. Bernard by a tally of 60-22.
With the victory, Stonington improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Montville (Oakdale, CT) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Montville won 53-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Putnam (Putnam, CT)
Next up, the Saints confront the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - 4 challenge, on Saturday, February 3. St. Bernard will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 52-34 non-league win over Griswold (Griswold, CT).
