February 1, 2024: Henrico, VA 23294 The J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines (Chester, VA), 35-29 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks go into the non-league test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Freeman got by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 42-22, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host King & Queen Central for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Carver College and Career Academy will encounter a Royal Tigers squad coming off a 72-34 non-league loss to Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Royal Tigers record now stands at 0-8.
