Indiana High School Basketball - Hobart tops Kankakee Valley
February 1, 2024: Wheatfield, IN 46392 Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad topple the host Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN), 52-40 in a league test.
The Brickies (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Wildcats go into the test with a 9-3 record.
The Kougars now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host La Porte for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Kankakee Valley will encounter a Slicers squad coming off a 44-30 league loss to Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Slicers record now stands at 2-6.
