The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC) and the host Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC), observed Asheville School (Independent)'s basketball team overcome Legion Collegiate Academy by a margin of 56-38.

The Blues (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Carolina Day (Asheville, NC). The Wildcats come into the NCISAA Carolinas challenge with a 5-15 record.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Legion Collegiate Academy will attempt to better on its 5-22 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 9-15 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC).
