Maryland High School Basketball - Bishop McNamara sneaks past Mount St. Joseph
February 1, 2025: Forestville, MD 20747 The Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) basketball edged the visiting Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD), 60-57 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to St. John's for a DCSAA AA bout on Tuesday, February 4. Bishop McNamara will play a Cadets team coming off a 86-81 league loss to Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Cadets record now stands at 16-8.
With the loss, Mount St. Joseph falls to 15-9 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 20-5. St. Frances Academy won 83-42 in their recent league bout against Pallotti (Laurel, MD)
