The Union City Indians basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Blue River Valley Vikings to 39 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Arcanum for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Union City will play a Trojans team coming off a 48-44 non-league loss to Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Blue River Valley falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Knightstown (Knightstown, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 2-12.
