In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Blue Valley West Jaguars basketball team scored a close 59-55 win over the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians.

The Jaguars (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Valley (Stilwell, KS). The Tigers come into the Eastern Kansas contest with a 9-3 record.

In their next game, the Guardians battle the Pembroke Hill Raiders (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. St. Michael the Archangel will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record.
