February 1, 2025: Ashland, KY 41102 Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Huntington Expression Prep Kings (Huntington, WV), 104-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Boyd County advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Lions host Pikeville (Pikeville, KY) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 9-6. Pikeville won 79-61 in their recent non-league match against Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY)
The Kings now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4.
