Illinois High School Basketball - Bureau Valley toppled by Sherrard
February 1, 2025: Sherrard, IL 61281 Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) fans went home pleased Saturday as they observed their basketball team knock off the visiting Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), 62-49 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers (20-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alleman (Rock Island, IL). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-20 record. In their last challenge, Alleman dropped by Geneseo (Geneseo, IL), 61-52, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Storm encounter the Galva Wildcats (Galva, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Bureau Valley will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 88-54 league win over ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL).
