The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH) and the visiting Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH), observed Catholic Central's basketball team knock off Newton Local by a score of 46-35.

The Irish (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Triad (North Lewisburg, OH). The Cardinals come into the Ohio Heritage challenge with a 1-15 record. In their last challenge, Triad dropped by West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH), 69-32, in a league challenge.
