The Liberty-Benton Eagles (Findlay, OH) basketball were winner over the visiting Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH), 56-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a Blanchard Valley bout on Friday, February 7. Liberty-Benton will play a Falcons team coming off a 48-37 league win over Arcadia (Arcadia, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Defiance falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Napoleon (Napoleon, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Napoleon lost 71-58 in their recent league bout against Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH)
