The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) and the host Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN), observed East Central's basketball team knock off Rushville by a score of 53-36.

The Trojans (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN). The Tigers come into the Eastern Indiana challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Lawrenceburg dropped by South Ripley (Versailles, IN), 49-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Greensburg Pirates (Greensburg, IN) in a Eastern Indiana challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Rushville will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 47-36 league win over Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN).
