Louisiana High School Basketball - Ferriday routed by Southside
February 1, 2025: Youngsville, LA The Southside Sharks bounced the visiting Ferriday Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 63-36 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Sharks clash with the Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) in a 5A District 3 outing, on Tuesday, February 4. Southside will attempt to upgrade on its 18-14 season record. The Buccaneers enter the outing with a 23-12 record after their 37-33 league loss to Carencro (Lafayette, LA).
The Trojans (20-9) will now prepare for their outing against Mangham (Mangham, LA). The Dragons enter the 2A District 2 outing with a 11-16 record. In their last outing, Mangham was overwhelmed by Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA), 61-39, in a league outing.
