February 1, 2025: Mount Vernon, NY 10552 The Francis Lewis Patriots basketball squad (Fresh Meadows, NY), was crushed 73-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Mount Vernon Knights (Mount Vernon, NY)
With the victory, Mount Vernon advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY) to meet the Raiders in a Section 1 Conference 1C battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 8-4.
The Patriots now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardozo for a PSAL 4A Queens I battle on Monday, February 3. Francis Lewis will meet a Judges squad coming off a 69-57 league win over Queens Teaching (Bellerose, NY). The Judges record now stands at 12-5.
