Georgia High School Basketball - Lakeview Academy crushes Furtah Prep
February 1, 2025: Gainesville, GA 30501 The Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Furtah Prep Falcons (Acworth, GA), 79-53 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 18-6 record. They play next when they host Loganville Christian Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Lakeview Academy will play a Lions team coming off a 56-37 league win over Riverside Military Academy (Gainesville, GA). The Lions record now stands at 9-15.
With the loss, Furtah Prep falls to 19-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Heritage (Newnan, GA) to play the Hawks in a GIAA AA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Heritage won 75-37 in their recent league bout against St. Mary's Academy (Fairburn, GA)
