Colorado High School Basketball - Gateway toppled by Skyline

Skyline Falcons (Longmont, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO), 80-70 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Skyline upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Falcons host Horizon (Thornton, CO) to face the Hawks in a 6A/5A/4A Granite Peaks match on Tuesday, February 4. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 15-2. Horizon won 67-48 in their recent league match against Fairview (Boulder, CO)

The Olympians now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aurora Central for a 5A/4A Colorado match on Tuesday, February 4. Gateway will face a Trojans squad coming off a 54-44 league win over Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 8-8.
