Illinois High School Basketball - Marmion defeats Glenbard South
February 1, 2025: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 The Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) basketball were winner over the host Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), 49-35 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cadets now possess a 14-11 record. They play next when they host Brother Rice for a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout on Tuesday, February 4. Marmion will play a Crusaders team coming off a 53-32 league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 21-3.
With the loss, Glenbard South falls to 13-12 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Ridgewood (Norridge, IL) to play the Rebels in a Upstate Eight - West bout on Wednesday, February 5. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Ridgewood won 63-60 in their recent league bout against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)
