The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC) and the visiting Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA), observed Reidsville's basketball team overwhelm Gretna by a score of 81-38.

The Rams (19-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Stokes (King, NC). The Wildcats come into the 2A Mid-State challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, West Stokes trounced T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC), 48-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Gretna will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 67-55 league win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA).
